PGDM PROGRAMME

PGDM is a two years fulltime autonomous programme, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The course curriculum is designed in such a way as to give the students adequate knowledge and to make them suitable for the managerial positions.

Programme Design:

The course curriculum for the PGDM programme is designed to impart requisite skills to students in order to have a clear understading about their future expected role in the modern corporate world and to have a better knowledge about the socio-economic, political, legal and technological environment prevailing in the society. During the first year of the PGDM programme, the students gain knowledge about the basic concepts relating to General Management including Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Marketing management, Human Resource management, Managerial Economics, System Management etc. summer internship

At the end of 1st year, the students of PGDM programme are required to work in an organisation to gain on-the-job experience which is very vital on the part of every budding manager. the second year After getting basic knowledge relating to various concepts and functional areas of management and after gaining on-the-job experience the students have to choose their areas of specialisation like Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, System etc., in order to give refinement to their chosen career path.
